Our reservation was at the Alder which is immediately next to the casino hotel.
Such a shame, as they had so much land to use to make it a truly exciting and memorable destination. Go to Vegas, AC, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, pretty much anywhere else, if you want more excitement and bang for your buck. It is the most boring casino resort I've ever been to, and I've been to many. In conclusion, unless you're just coming to gamble or have other activities planned, such as spending the day at the Kartrite indoor water park down the road, I would strongly advise against staying at Resorts World especially if you're bringing the kids.
It's as if whoever designed the place had never even stepped into a casino resort before. There is no club, no shopping (save for a tiny, overpriced gift shop,) no arcade, no movie theater, etc.It has a few restaurants and an indoor pool/spa. There is almost nothing to do on the property but gamble. That being said, I do not recommend staying at Resorts World Catskills unless you're a gambler or you have other activities planned in the area.
